there's many many people having IPODs nowadays. (:
but there's cheap iPODs lookalikes abound,
targeted at consumers who want to look cool
w/o dishing out too much $$$.
so BEWARE of th dupes. (:
they have been dubbed "Lie-PODs".
these fake IPODs are being sold in physical shops as well as online too.
th knock-offs had made their wayto more than 10
electronic resellers in sim lim square in s'pore.
with LOW selling prices ranging between
S$50-S$120;a third of th original IPODs
and with th design that look almost IDENTICAL to th real deal.
these fakes are hot stuffs;a hit contraband. o_O
but there's ways tuh not being duped if exercise caution. (:
BUYING AT TH SHOP.
look out for th tell-tale signs:
check th scroll wheel.it's th most obvious sign of a poor imitation.
look at th connection port.there should be an IPOD dock connection port at th bottom which is difficult tuh replicate.
turn it on.does th player display th Apple boot screen(a picture of Apple logo)? if it shows something else,drop it.
check th box and all th accessories.check for th full list of items at store.apple.com before heading down to th shop.
take a look around th shop .
